Well, i had read article and even posted here which said Fox Star had parted ways and Viacom18 is new partner. Regarding chs promoting movies but not having rights, this does happen as happened with Tubelight special on Sony.... All these depend on various factors. As i have said Star would have been satellite partner if partnership continued but it has ended as per reports
I guess u are referring to Bollywood Hungama report saying Fox Star is checking all existing contracts after VIJAY Singh resignation as CEO of Fox Star. The same stated they are very much involved in Brahmastra. Check they said only they walked out of Takht and later said Dharma never even pitched the idea to FOX star.

SPN is airing it regularly and it's their prime time movie at least for like 6-7 years and will continue to do so. Plus SPN can't afford to lose their big blockbuster. So at least for 10 years PK won't move to another network

U expected YRF landing on Star after over 2 decades of strong ties they had with Sony? Well Disney can come up with a attractive offer and producers will tend to shift but yes Sony might get 1st right to refusal as i have mentioned previously too. Sony will lose films but same time tying up with new labels / producers but surely not having bigger production houses is a massive setback

Hmmm, well yes i could have confused Takht with Brahmastra but then how Colors said that they r satellite partners for it?

The first casualty of this re-assessment is Takht which was meant to be the most expensive Dharma-Fox collaboration of all times. But then, God and Coronavirus had other plans.

Dharma Productions responded to the story stating that there was no collaboration happening. "So, Dharma had not approached Fox for Takht since they are already collaborating with them on Brahmastra which is itself a massive project. So, them backing out is not true! And the project is not being shelved either," said the spokesperson.

I am certain that it will move but at least for some period won't go

Yep I guess that's based on the production year it went on to production itseems. Brahmastra was supposed to be the last film in Colors-Dharma deal. In this thread also we had discussed for a long time how star got Satellite /Digital of Brahmastra. After that colors this article came it seems. It even states we have Brahmastra for premiere but the fact itself is it won't release till Dec 20, 2020 if it's on schedule. That whole wording itself made me think something is off.
