There are few ones like
Kyon Ki main jhooth nahi bolta, nayak, Chup Chup ke. But definitely they should launch a separate channel for bollywood classical movies like Sony and zee

For utv action they could have rename as utv classic or star gold classic..

UTV Movies and SUM u just like Max2 or combination of Zee Classic/Bollywood. They do not need separate channel but some rebranding will happen.

Star is managing quite well. I do not agree with points stated by bros above. Star has many bollywood movies to chose from so does not rest on 5 or 10 selected ones for weekend

Infact just like zee , star gives full justice to almost all or majority movies in its library ... Its Sony which just keeps many films idle, only been few months that some of these r being given airtime but that is either bcoz soon it will move to another network and Sony is rethinking bollywood strategy after YRF renewed deal with star


The sony classification of chs is nothing special except Max2 while Zee is surely more segregated. Star is one step ahead, 2 chs each for new bolly/south indian content, 2 ch for classic bollywood mix with few south indian or little older bollywood films, 1 each for dubbed hollywood and offbeat bollywood... 3 HD for diff things too.

Star also has has a big list of movies which are just lying idle. Talking about Sony, they have given space regularly to yrf movies, even old ones pre 2000 for over 20 years now. Sony and zee knows, how to manage flop movies and gain trps from them, whereas star manages trp only when they get a blockbuster movie, when they get a flop /average movie, they just forget about that movie. Even Viacom is sometimes better than star in this case . even star is having so many channels, they show the same movie on every channel, there is no clarity. Sony and zee are doing a great job here.
