Producer asking price increased because computetion in films acquisition between channels still they acquired some good movies. Recent trend in KFI is separate selling of digital and statilate rights of films.
Colors Kannada want both rights so that's why set back (not acquired ) many movies.

Correct, if they just buy Satellite rights, soon movie will be launched in OTT and makes channels to telecast at the same time due to piracy problem.
