SCV new package now on their website

Today I found the Star Plus (not subscribed) was blank in my SCV set top box. When I checked the signal it was 50% with a quality of 95% (usully it was 37% and 75%). I just wanted to search the channels in the same frequency.

I did the manual install and 5 channels found. These channels got appended to the end of all channel list. These channels were named as follows.

NGC (912) - it is already available at 402
IMAYAM (1048)
ANINAL PLANET (1536) - it is already available at 404
FREE (1541)
CARTOON NETWORK (1689) - it is already available at 250

Now the channels 402, 404 and 250 are not showing anything. In channel 1541, I saw Zee TV (not subscribed by me) was running for few minutes and then gone blank with No Signal. I was not able to watch any feed in channle 1048. It is always showing No Signal. Channels 912, 1536 and 1689 are now showing the channels. Also it's CA Status is showing them as Free to Air Channels. Attached some screenshots.

Now all these channels are removed automatically and the existing channels are working as earlier.

I think SCV is testing by adding the new channels. Soon we will get the new channels in the STB. Also noticed that the channel Star Cricket (subscribed by me) is now scrambled. Anyhow I didn't pay the subscription fee for this month.

Is this happening to everyone ???? Only the free to air channels are comming for me... For the paid channels like ESPN HBO AXN etc. i am receiving the E48-32 NO SIGNAL error !!! pls reply soon

Hi, I am having SCV STB and all the subscribed channels are available without any issue till now. Whether yours is new connection or existing connection. Mine is existing connection for the past 4 years. May be the new connections having problem.

I met my LCO to pay my subscription. He said, no need to pay now since the packages will be chaning from 15th of this month. I found there was a list of ala-carte channels pasted on the wall. There were many channels listed as ala-carte in that list. These channels are not available in the web as either ala-carte or package. For ex: Puthiya Thalaimurai is availble at Rs.4/month. Many new channels like BTV and Peppers are available in the list.

He also said, all Tamil channels will be included as part of the package automatically (but he is not telling it for sure). Also I asked him about the price sports channels. He said, they are still not finalizing their package (including ala-carte). As per him, the list will be finalized before this Saturday.

He asked me to visit on this Saturday to pay for new package. Since I wont be there in Chennai for the next two weeks, I paid my subscription of 210 rupees for SCV Gold pack. As per my LCO's advice I didnt select any additional channels. He said, some of the channels will be added to the package and asked me to wait. Let us see what is happening.

Even if Arasu comes, I have no problem becuase I got this set top box 4 years back and it is mine (not SCV) as per terms and conditions during 2009.

Call your local cable operator and complain. There might be a signal problem. But, what do you mean by local channels?

Call your local cable operator and complain. There might be a signal problem. But, what do you mean by local channels?

i am getting sun tv ...vijay tv etc ... i am not gettin espn star hbo axn etc

Are these channel prices made by TRAI Regulations, these are expensive than DTH.
Is there any chance of starting HD service by SCV.
