my LCO again changed to SCV today afternoon at 4 pm very bad move.:wall:wall:'(:'(

i think you posted this comment in another thread as well. dreamdth.com/Thread-Breaking-News-Arasu-Cable-Chennai-Channel-List-Analog-Mode?pid=226681#pid226681

i think we can discuss about channel offering from SCV alone in this thread. in the above given link we can discuss about arasu cable channels and switching over to/from arasu. let me know uf you have a different view on this..

Yes, SCV seems to want to see sun direct. Seems available for Rs.1590 for 2 months another 2 months free. Because if Arasu fails and if Arasu brings back Hathway or joins hands with those who have DAS licence and provides STB through them then SCV might face issues, so its safer to push more for SUN DTH.

Guys,

You can use the attached excel sheet to select your package and ala-carte channels if and only if you are going with SCV. If am going with SCV, i will go with either of last two options.

To use: Put "Y" against each channel for each option. You can see the total amount for ala-carte selected channels and then the total with each package. I hope at least this will be useful even their packages are not useful.

Kalaignar tv, isaiaruvi channels are there in the list

These channels are not in ala-carte list. Not only this. Many channels are not there in ala-carte list.

Please find the updated version of the excel. There are few channel listed under two groups. If you select it from both groups it will be double costed. I colored it in RED.

I have a query here. Whether we need to select at least one base back and then ala-carte channels or we can create our own pack from ala-carte list? If we can create our own pack, then what about missing channels in the ala-carte list. Lots of Tamil channels are missing in the ala-carte list. Also from other language and genre too. Whether those channels are always free for everyone? (I think I drunk. Otherwise how can I ask the last question. SCV will never give anything free)

it will be a welcome move if Hathway comes in. But they wont come. Later if government changes or if Arasu get license after some time, they will throw them out as happened during 2008/2009. But from where did you get this info? or is this your own thinking :tup
