Picture quality has nothing to do with signals quality. In Tata Sky SD, they have shine in picture.

Are you using hdmi cable? Did you try changing picture settings on your TV? May be one of the presets. The sharpness settings messes strings up usually.

When you say worst are you saying it's blurry, frame drop or color saturation. Great if you can take picture with mobile and share here. Keep EPG or menu on while taking pictures.
