Normally all broadcasting is at 1080 i.

But in my tv also, it's shown as 1080p.

Box 2244-Rf d2h HD.

If needed will post ss.

I think its done in STB or TV, I > P up conversion, other wise will waste bandwidth.

I have used only 2222,2244 d2h STB. Both case tv shows 1080p. A person having multiple DTH brand connected to same tv can confirm this to 100%.

Videocon d2h HD 2244RF and Airtel Digital TV with one tv at the same time. d2h 50p & ADTV 50i
SD is better with ADTV but a few SD channels are worst e.g SONY ESPN, a few HD channels are sharper and more colorful than d2h but thats just a few. Overall, HD is more clear ON d2h than on ADTV. 50p is always better than 50i.
ADTV gives 16:9 while d2h gives screen fit, thats why d2h outputs good. As a whole d2h is a better experience than ADTV. The RF remote and favourite list and channels surfing make it easy to use. Nice channels combination with good prices.
ADTV does not have a great travel channel, Travel XP HD. Nat Geo Wild HD, MTV INDIES HD also unavailable in Airtel.

yes I can prove it and can really show you. If u watch it on a smart tv and u turn it on or select stb source from remote u will get notified on the screen . 1920*1080 50p.
when u watch airtel or tatasky it displays 1920*1080 50i.
I will upload the picture. and I tell u the HD picture quality of Videocon is really better than both tatasky and airtel. I used all the three on series 8 Samsung smart tv. You will feel the difference on a high range smart tv. and I inform u that picture settings are also different for 1080i and 1080p on smart tvs. For airtel and tatasky the settings are of 1080i.
