i talked to tata sky cc they are saying that they will upgrade your sd stb from mpeg 2 to mpeg 4 in rs 500

I think they will take some money because harit nagpal said that we are spending about 200 milion to change about 6-7 million STBs.

He said, but it could hardly be the reality...at least 30% of tata sky stbs would be dormant. They need not replace for all of them...and one of the best ways to go, is to leave 6-7 TP's in mpeg2 to begin with, and convert rest of them in mpeg4, so that base packages are available to all of them, and meanwhile conversion keeps on happening...
