Guys had a conversation with Area Head Sales person from Madurai - he conveyed me that TS is going to send SMS very soon to all the MPEG 2 customers stating that they have to replace their MPEG 2 to MPEG 4 STB's on or before Sep 25th after that period if the customer wish to change to MPEG 4 STB they will have to pay Rs. 500 extra.
He also told me that they very very soon with respect to Tamil Channels like Adithya, Makkal TV etc., will not be available in MPEG 2 STBs they will also do the same for other regional channels too...the person also told me that TS will add channels very soon...with respect to tamil channels they will be at par with their competitors very soon...further TS is now going to focus kerala market too...
