You can probably ask the tech if the hard disk can be swapped to the replacement box.

Did u check any ground fault in or home wiring system.

Seems software problem. I am facing this issue too on TS+ HD every now and then when I try to record a new program or try to play recorded program, but it starts working fine after reboot.
