Instead of NCF, put pressure on government to reduce GST on TV entertainment because launching satellites and maintaining them is not cheap. Sun Direct offers low NCF but they also have fewer channels and limited presence in ROI, low cost will help them in growth.

Will they agree to reduce GST, even not reduce GST on rural Telephony?

Both Government is killing the Tv by introducing the unstable NTOs and Broadcasters & DPO are killing by Increasing the prices more n more. If you calculate, at same price we were getting all SD n HD channels before NTO, in the price of the existing basic SD DPO pack.

This will result , In long term , Broadcaster n DPO will see their graph down towards negative.

Not Radio bhai! its OTT
We are seeing OTT as future , OTT subscription are cheap now & companies are offering on discounted rates ,but we should not forget the same tv broadcaster are in background of OTTs as well (Star,Sony,Viacom & others). We dont know , when they will start looting us just like liner Tv services.

Netflix & Amazon Prime are costlier than OTTs of regular broadcastes as they acquired so many Indian movies now.
