Jio has maintained great relationship with everyone but still jio chose Sony Because where Viacom and Jio lack Sony excels and where Sony lacks Viacom Jio excel.

Hotstar live channels were removed from the Airtel Xstream app in June. JioTV continues to have them. And JioTV is promoted in most Star Sports events.

Yes From some source. It seems ambani's jio is interested in content than to produce one. They may buckle up zee's online content but it seems to much in future. Zee has potential in regional. Sun may seek zee against Viacom and star. But it may not be easy. Finally they see potential buyout of zee in future.

I can see Disney acquiring Zee to create monopoly. But why would Netflix buy a tv network? Than also a Indian TV network.

There is no chance for Disney to take over zee. Indian soap operas don't care too much for mass audience. The only reason for Disney interest in India is CRICKET. Getting exclusive rights would give them handful subscription. They aren't interested in media business in india.
Jio has completely different ideology.
Viacom is a biggest content provider for them. So probably Sony Viacom would make up for media business in India leaving zee independently to tie up with either Comcast or potentially AT&T. And digital to JIo.
It's very hard to know Zee's future. As Viacom is predictable, they will tie up with Sony or exit the market.
Sony needs to live so Viacom will be the apt company. So they can get kids and English and music content and exchange with sports. Whereas zee and Sony merge would have failed as zee is only present in regional and it's not good for what Sony is searching to expand.
