TP 11480 V 28800 8PSK 2/3 (29 SD + 4 Data Channels)

TP 11483 H 26600 8PSK 3/4 (20 SD + 3 HD + 3 Data Channels)

TP 11520 H 30000 8PSK 3/4 (30 SD + 13 Data Channels)

TP 11520 V 30000 8PSK 3/4 (25 SD + 3 HD + 1 Data Channels)

TP 11560 H 30000 8PSK 3/4 (34 SD + 3 Data Channels)

TP 11560 V 30000 8PSK 3/4 (33 SD + 5 Data Channels)

TP 11600 H 30000 8PSK 3/4 (28 SD + 1 HD + 12 Radio + 4 Data Channels)

TP 11600 V 30000 8PSK 3/4 (29 SD + 1 HD + 3 Data Channels)

294SD+19HD Channels+41Data Channels +12Radio Channels

Airtel owned 36mhz tps on ses7,there is totally 12 tp's....

12*36SD=432SD channels-19HD channels(19*4SD=76)=356 SDchannels

356-294=62SD Channels or 18HD channels

So still they have space for 62 SD channels or 18 HD channels....

till 2016 they have to conserve space in this tp's......

Gud effort ritvik bro, but calculation is a bit more complex than what is posted by u :shy

Other factors, like carrier width, bit rate etc also come into account, so.. an average across all TPs cannot be taken.
Some TPs can fit more channels, than others. :k

Also, compression is also an important factor.

Thk u shawl bro,by considering each and every factor only i calculate this channel capacity.

Nearly 60-75 SD channel space or 18-20HD channel space is available in airtel digital tv.

I think with this minimum quantity of tp space they cant sustain in the market.In my point of view till mid of 2016 they need to have atleast 200+SD Channel space or 50+HD channel space...

Lets see how they sustain till 2016

If they get TP'S From NSS11 they get more space for future,but its life time ended on 2015 itself....it has 28ku band tp's of 36mhz.....

or else they have to bag tp's from NSS12 it has 48Ku band tp's of 36mhz....

But ses 9 expected to launch on 2015,it has 81 Ku band tp's of 36mhz.....if they bag atleast 35tp's they able to rule dth market for next 20 years....

They have more options to increase there capacity but still silent....
