Vishnu bro, what is monoblock lnb? what is the difference b/w normal lnb and monoblock lnb ?

Hi Brother I dont know exactly what is monoblock lnb but in this forum in dish tv section many of the members talk about monoblock lnb to watch dishtv channels from asiasat5.
I thnk it is used for the dth which is working in 2 or more satlite(I dont know it is true. Correct if I am wrong Dear Member Brothers)

monoblock lnb is for two sattelites with 5 degree difference.if we have 2 sattelites at same degrees single lnb is enough.dish tv using monoblock for 100 and 95 degrees

Bro.. I Think SES 9 will Launch In The Mid of 2016...

SES-9 satellite scheduled for launch in 2015 will be positioned at the orbital slot of 108.2 degrees East and provide incremental as well as replacement capacity to this well established SES slot over Asia, where it will be co-located with the existing SES-7 satellite. The satellite will expand SES’ capabilities to provide DTH broadcasting and other communications services in Northeast Asia, South Asia and Indonesia, as well as maritime communications for vessels in the Indian Ocean.

On Feb. 21,2014 SES disclosed that it has purchased an additional launch from SpaceX, this one for the SES-9 satellite scheduled for launch in the first half of 2015.

I think airtel wud be pushing SES for launching d satellite earlier, as it was scheduled for late 2015 launch.

Good news for airtel... they shud immediately activate their 12th TP, and add HD chnls. hya

But first isro has to sign contract with SES only then Airtel can sign contract with ISRO.
