Hi I had a question regarding splitting of Airtel DTH connection. I have a customer id linked with two set top boxes, after I took airtel black connection they replaced one set top box which was linked to old customer id and they assign a new customer id with a new set top box and the other set top box is still active with the old customer id. I want to get the second set top box to get splitted from the old customer id and assign me with a new customer id and merge my connection with the airtel black. When I raised a request with the customer care they said they can't move forward with the splitting request as the registered phone number was changed recently and they don't have the authority to split the connection. They asked me to visit nearby airtel store to get this issue resolved but visiting airtel store was not much of help as they say the same thing to contact customer care. I want you folks to help me with this issues for which i would be forever grateful.
