ViacomCBS international's Raffaele Annecchino has already completed talks with RIL about possible venture for sports. And it's a good time for paramount plus to launch in India. And add to their global subscription.
Although as you said the talks about revenue sharing may not be concluded. As there are no reports available. Soon we will get a clear picture if @Vadirocks bless us 😊😅 with internal news .
Viacom18 should rebrand voot app to paramount plus and add all international content in it

They hypocrisy in this thread. I highlighted how Sony appreciate their library who hasn't aired the Gabba test is saving for Independence Day. Got a reply that it's irrelevant. How Star has huge library. Sony's library cannot be compared to it. Why don't you use it properly? Air the 2011 World Cup Finals on someday special like Independence Day. Instead of airing it every single opportunity you get. Sony doesn't have much of India's cricket. Yet they still capitalise with the existing library.

Now that I have said that. Star is acting foolish by airing highlights of India vs England. Air something different. Capitalise on non cricketing audience when competition is airing live cricket. Playing best of and ball by ball highlights is just insulting audience's intelligence. Why would anyone prefer to watch highlights of something same when live action is airing on some other channel?
Given that the weekly trp data for sports channels is no longer being released, Star Sports can telecast something else instead of telecasting highlights to compete with live cricket on Sony.
