Viewers Watching more Cricket Events we can't Blame Broadcaster, variety of Sports not getting proper Viewership and Revenue than it's not fault of Broadcaster, most of Viewers not interested watching unwanted sports in India, this is the reason many sports channels shutting down in past
Only Neo and Ten Golf channels have shutdown. If it makes you happy most content these channels were airing are still on tv. Existing broadcaster acquired the rights including Star with Bundesliga. FYI, more sports channels have launched than they have shutdown. And all the cricket madness you talk about. Have you seen Star adding ESPN FC to their line-up recently? It's to capitalise on Euro 2020 craze in the country.

No use of Indian sports channels..
No takers for Australia tour of West Indies, Bangladesh tour of Zimbabwe & more series coming up shortly..
Simply starting channels & looting us..
If Fancode asks 399/yr to show these series, then who will pay for data cost??

Even Star or Sony, nobody Revealing Real Profit and loss as per company policy, you can see how Sony struggling in after airing variety of Sports in India

Buddy, actually Sony may well b making profit in sports biz.. It is just that they can invest large amount amongst various sports and earn revenue while star/disney has much bigger amount going into cricket which takes time to recover and get profits. Sony has key matches or events which generates major revenue and that may b enough to recover total investments across sports and earn profit. Both r business models and fine at respective places

Westindies cricket deserves for TV Broadcasting, recent years we know that how westindies made cricket next level especially T20 and ODI Cricket, after knowing these things also broadcasters still not showing interest for Westindies Cricket Rights, Atleast Sony or Viacom should try to grab Rights for any cost

Yes, West Indies cricket is interesting and even CPL is a great entertainment filled sports event

There should be some dedicated live feed across the channel for the whole event

1. Live best of Olympic feed
2. Indian event Live feed (that too in English +hindi)
3. Live feed from swimming/athletics (FYI athletic field event starts after swimming event completes)
4. Secondary Indian event feed in case two events goes simultaneously.
5.Live World record / Olympic record breaking feed.
6. Live medal event feed.
Optional
7.Field event feed (football, hockey, handball, rugby, tennis etc)

I think Doordarshan will bid for some cricket and other sports rights, current CEO Shashi Shekhar ji taking many nice steps to improve content.
Also "Fourth Umpire" used to b my favourite pre/post match show with Raman Bhanot Sir as host and Anjum Chopra ma'am , Dr. Narottam Puri, Chetan Sharma Sir, Kris Srikanth Sir, Atul Wassan sir etc. as experts . Also their hindi commentary panel is fabulous, like it much more than star/disney commentators . Even for other sports their coverage is excellent . Even Sony hires many of these experts, commentators for its sports coverage and they make viewing experience just marvelous

I think except IPL rights, bids for every rights are sensible & justified. Star might have won the IPL rights thinking about some other thing like digitalisation, more revenue subscription etc. which may make profit/loss for them. And the rights for other sports must be too much less for Indian subcontinent than cricket, so no channels must not have making any losses
And about WI rights, Sony have no channel to telecast it & Star India is less interested in non-india centric content.
There are no more channel.
