If cricket is religion. Cricketers are than committing blasphemy by not winning any ICC tournaments. Than also these tournaments barely has 10-12 country's participating. And they call it World Cup. I don't get how can you call a thing a World Cup when half the world doesn't even participates. I don't even recall Team India winning any ICC trophy in last 8 years.

Irony about broadcasters not being interested in football is one of the broadcaster is the biggest stakeholder in country's most watched football league.

I dont think cricket fans will get "derby "thing.coz start cricket ruined this for them by calling Bangalore and Chennai match "south indian derby ".maybe soon they will tag every match as "indian derby "

Not insecure. You watch what I watch mindset. They need to remember cricket before WC 1983 was a struggling sport as well.

Some sports broadcasters needs to start a weekly show called Sports Academy where they educate viewers about new sports. Teach them rules and introduce them to Stars. They can do this on their digital handles too.
