Though i agree that they should promote renewed movies well and air it on prime slots but at the same time i feel they r gearing up for launch of Star Gold Romance and want to keep certain movies away from regular airing. This strategy might have been adopted to generate higher interest among viewers about the content on this new channel. I guess right now they must b airing it bcoz of some mandatory terms in the contract which state that 1st airing should happen within few days of renewal

I had already stated long back and was telling everyone on a constant basis that Disney-Star was not giving certain movies prime slot airing as they wanted to reserve it for Star Gold Romance so that new channel gets a fresh & attractive appeal among audience when launched.

Similarly i feel a retro bollywood movie channel and some sort of revamp of Star Gold Select is in the pipeline and therafter more of the sidelined bollywood movies will get space on these channels. Also quite possible that Star Gold Select might start giving airtime to critically acclaimed / offbeat / meaningful dubbed hollywood movies or these may be accomodated on some other channel in the future ...maybe Star Gold Thrills HD will be launched in future.

I think there is a possibility that Star Utsav Movies is rebranded as Star Gold Family and airs comedy + family entertainers from various genres including more retro bollywood movies while another second movie channel launches on DD Free Dish + Private Cable/DTH platforms which airs more of action , suspense, thriller movies from bollywood/hollywood as well as dubbed south indian movies.
Also there is a possibility that Star Utsav Movies is completely transformed into a retro bollywood movies channel and a 2nd movie channel is launched like revamped avatar of UTV Movies which airs mostly post 90s movies from bollywood, dubbed hollywood movies and select dubbed south indian movies

Dubbed South Indian movies should be kept minimal. Disney-Star has a very large bollywood movie library and they need to air romantic movies from it on Star Gold Romance. They r also adding many new/fresh bollywood movies in their library on a constant basis and same should be aired on Star Gold Romance and their other hindi movie channels. Also looking forward to romantic dubbed hollywood movies being aired and in future even more dubbed hollywood movies from meaningful / critically acclaimed and comedy genre finding airtime on their channels.

Disney-Star has a distinct advantage of having a vast bollywood + dubbed hollywood movies audience base which it has built over last many years and they need to stick to providing more bollywood + dubbed hollywood content. Dubbed South Indian movies except some very popular or iconic ones do not seem to get much ratings on Disney-Star Hindi Movie Channels hence they should invest less on this
