Even Sony also not depends on local company for Hollywood movies.
Even If Disney is minority stakeholder in SIPL, so Reliance can't stop them selling few contents Catalogue rights to rivals, through Disney India's parent Company. decade back they sold major movies licensing rights to rivals Sun, Zee, Sony, Netflix.

True,
Sun network channel Gemini Movies telecasted so many Disney movies like Tarzan/Inspector Gadget/Bedtime Stories in Telugu,
Even some movies still not available in Telugu on Disney+ Hotstar but Gemini Movies telecasted in Telugu with good dubbing...

They have sold those rights without stake any company in India, now they have stake in SIPL, so they can sell to rivals, If SIPL not interested.

Majority Disney own contents not even airing on SIPL and even unavailable on hotstar. i think Disney have good opportunity this time selling to rivals.

Things i said r true facts. Buddy u r not trying to understand what all has happened in this merger.....as far as demerger terms r concerned, one needs to read the terms signed for in agreement as same differ for each of such mergers..... Things r not out of hand, Star India is the biggest and most successful broadcaster in India, i have already explained why they decided to go for a partnership
I don't have any insider relations. But I understand things by reading & aggregating informations from multiple sources - official press releases, news articles, posts of people in this thread (except somebody). And I don't know from where you tap information and determinate things. Anyway I can't disrespect you as my views are not authorised over your opinions. So we can move with our own findings and time will tell the truth.

Provide evidence for everything you've said till now. I have been observing for the past few days that you're constantly making arguments instead of a healthy discussion on the topic. And this is raising doubts over the credibility of your statements. So it will be good for you that you either provide sufficient evidence in support of your ’arguments’. Or stop arguing unnecessarily altogether. Period.

But Fun fact is that Disney doesn't release any of the their hollywood contents through SIPL company in India..
Yes , disney india itself is a different company than disney star.
Disney india operates hungama , and all utv and disney channels in india .
It also had a subsidiary called disney star .

But now it’s different the deal is not just with disney star but entire disney india , thats why they choose to sell hungama.
Its not yet known how disney will distribute its movies.

In a short form disney india now exists as a minority shareholder in jiostar. ( not to get confused with disney international operations employee in india who work for disney and not disney india)

I think Disney still has employees for movie distribution.

If they don't then they can follow Universal and use Warner Bros. to distribute the movies in India.

Disney's share in SIPL is through Disney India. After aquisition of Fox assets, 'Disney India' become irrelevant as they integrated their activities into Star as SIPL has wide capabilities. So Disney India remained as a shadow parent company to its subsidiary Disney Star.
Now situation arise for Disney India to stay standalone and oversee JioStar as a stakeholder. More than that they have to move with some independent buisness - Mainly Merchandise & Hollywood movie distribution. I think as per JV agreement international contents of Disney in India is locked to JioStar for a tenure but subjective to Disney India. Also desecration of NGC, Disney Kids channels etc is with Disney India though it operates under JioStar. Means any transaction of Disney International contents, NGC Channels, Disney branded kids channels etc move to Jio Star only through the tables of Disney India. Don't know Star Studios is a part of JV. Anyway Disney may currently depend on JV to produce and distribute movies.
