Discussion Star SD Channels now broadcasting in 16:9 ratio

This Widescreen Trend is irritating me a lot. Someday, This Widescreen Trend will make me Stop Watching My Favourite Star & Disney Channels, which is not acceptable.

i dont understand whats the problem u facing with 16:9 format.... on other hand 4:3 was stretched but it fit in perfectly and if pic quality is good then u dont require HD channel variant of that channel... btw which tv u using

I use Smart TV, but I sometimes change Aspect Ratio from Fit-To-Picture to Pillarboxing.

Certain Jio Star Network Channels Broadcasting Aspect Ratio now changed to 16:9 while it's looking good for Viewing and Audiences can have a different Viewing Experiences while watching these Channels on TV.

Jalsha movies has changed its aspect ratio to 16:9 format for graphics only. Movies are playing in 4:3 format.

I know! Do not request to Star about Switching Hindi & English Star Channels in Widescreen, When we DM Disney Star, even if we mention widescreen just once, they won't make the switch based on a DM alone. Who doesn't like 16:9 in SD, Just like Me?

I also don't like 16:9 ratio in SD channels but can anyone request about Star Gold Thrills to come back in Widescreen please because I want Star Gold Thrills to come back in Widescreen
