Star Sports 4K in 720p
Star Sports 4K channel available in 4K/UHD Set Top Box only, TV set also UHD Required back in 2015. Currently you can stream 720p in 4k TVs or phones.

I am on new 65inch LG oled. After seeing 4k hdr content and seeing cricket in 1080p is a mess in ADTH , looks glitchy and bury in big screen! When the broacast is from Autralia/ENG the 1080p is much better. Star is bad!! wish we have option to choose of 4k soon! Saw WIPL on jio cinema full HD it was burry to glitchy too. Full HD is 2k? not 4k?
Nope. 2k is not full HD.

2k is 1440p. Full HD is 1080p. Most HD channels broadcast in 720p or even less.

Star Sports was better off when it was handled by ESPN. Now the focus is more on glitz and glamour rather than content. I hardly watch any pre/post match shows now. I remember how beautifully they covered the Monkey-Gate incident during India's tour of Australia in 2008. Can't expect the same now.
Speaking of 4K broadcast, it's true that if Star had both digital and TV rights, they wouldn't have bothered for the same. So, it's good they finally have some competition in real sense.
True. Everything about the commentary, commentators and pre/post match shows was infinitely better before. Back then Aussies, Brits and other commentators had real observations to share. Now it's all sanitized and bottom of the barrel content. And the hosts are the biggest buffoons on them.

No, 1440p is 2k/QHD and is between Full HD and 4k/UHD.

2k is 1440*2560 pixels in full screen.
