The current HD channels shows some degradation here and there. I am planning to purchase a TV in coming months. I went to a big retail store nearby and checked out Samsung 4k 55 inch tv and SS1 Hindi HD was running using Tata Play.
I didn't find that the quality very convincing. We definitely need 4k for UHD TVs

Why can't all Main Broadcasters shuts down their SD Channels?? I know CRT TV is mostly in use as compared to LED.

But when HD channels are working fine in CRT TVs then what's the use of these SD Channels.
