I think star will bet aggressively for next IPL round after the 10th edition. Star lost rights for cricket played in South Africa and New Zealand. I want them to get those back I love watching cricket on star sports although their commentry team is average now with heavy reliance on Indian commentators.

They used to have a core exclusive commentators team. Now the team is more Indian, they should try to maintain a balance.

to be honest Star Sports is far behind ESPN in terms of quality in pproduction. There graphics are average and commentary team is below standards. They are trying to impose too much Indianism into everything. I prefer watching the ongoing Aus-Ind series on Channel 9 rather Star Sports. Moreover they have lost some important rights over the years like Australian Open Tennis, UEFA CL, Baseball, NBA and many cricketing rights. They haven't been able to match the standards of ESPN's Sportscentre with any of there ongoing programs.

In times, Neo Sports showed cricket they tried to broadcast each nd every ranji games...!
The problem with star sports India is that they have 365 days of live sports bt since Indians prefer to watch Cricket More they have 3 cricket channels
Star Sports 1- 100% cricket.
Star Sports 2-80% cricket.
Star Sports 3-100% Hindi Audio Cricket.
So they try to neglect other Live events as they have low Trp's than cricket highlights...
