What is the difference between SS 1 Hindi & SS 3 ??

If means SS 1st also not required in Hindi coz what abt Hindi unknowing citizens of India so SS 1st must be in English if need add regional feeds like Hindi , Tamil etc ....

This should be launched in English if star and dd free dish wanted to satisfy viewers from all over India.

The main villain here is DD free dish who is not interested in any other languages than Hindi. Based on that only star is launching this in Hindi. Instead they can simply add as hindi in DD free dish.

@Justyrodz22 DD free dish never showed matches in Tamil which is also wrong. Look at Rupavahini in Sri Lanka. They do commentary in English, Sinhala and Tamil. But here only in English and Hindi.

Regarding Hindi being a national language, instead of asking us to google, provide official links confirming your statement since it is you who claims this statement.

So you are not crying for SS Gold select in ADTV which is a Hindi channel?

And nobody is crying here. We want equality for all. Why are you launching a sports channel in one particular language which is not known to everyone is a question here.

If it is GEC or movie channel who cares?

You should start in English and add additional languages first. Or launch in English only. Or launch in other regional languages too.

And first of all we are not realy worrying for launching this in Hindi and not in Tamil. But when we see people support Hindi regional language based channel but not other regional language the problem arises.

OFFICIAL LANGUAGE

CHAPTER I.- LANGUAGE OF THE UNION

343. Official language of the Union.

(1) The official language of the Union shall be Hindi in Devanagari script. The form of numerals to be used for the official purposes of the Union shall be the international form of Indian numerals.

(2)Notwithstanding anything in clause (1), for a period of fifteen years from the commencement of this Constitution, the English language shall continue to be used for all the official purposes of the Union for which it was being used immediately before such commencement: Provided that the President may, during the said period, by order_306 authorise the use of the Hindi language in addition to the English language and of the Devanagari form of numerals in addition to the international form of Indian numerals for any of the official purposes of the Union.

(3) Notwithstanding anything in this article, Parliament may by law provide for the use, after the said period of fifteen years, of-

(a) the English language, or

(b) the Devanagari form of numerals, for such purposes as may be specified in the law.
