Additional bandwidth for sun direct to use measat 3b looks bleak with the recent developments, there will be no additional capacity until Sun Direct obtains security clearance from the government.

But still there are some more option to free certain tp by fetching DD FEED from insat 10990 tp,but it has to be a collective effort from both rdtv and SDTV.
Rising the fec and so on can become handy...but this will certainly effect the entire setup of both especially RDTV and SDTV SD.
In practical..its possible but very tough. Would be costly in intial case but later it can save good amount in tp.
Channel of some what around 60 to 90 can be accomodated.

Yesterday ,MHA denies security clearance to Kalanithi Maran-backed Sun TV Network.
One day everything will be ok.But when is that day? Is it july 7
