Sun Network
Bro plz correct date in 1st post that is current year is 2021 not 20201

Suntv is telecast all old repeat movies
Yes yes Sun TV telecasting movies are too boring .

Regarding Sunday 06:00 PM they are having selective movies to telecast and we can easily guess the movie schedule most of the time.

Like Aranmanai series, Kanchana series, Vijay movies, Rural based movies like Komban and Karuppan movies and along with few other movies we can get 52 movies for 52 Sundays..

Can't able to remember what is the last shown premiere movie at this time slot on Non festival Days..

TRAI should also have added that sd channel to be capped at 50% of its HD version as they take 50% lesser bandwidth.

MRP of the channel is under the jurisdiction of the broadcasters who have nothing to do with bandwidth, the bandwidth of a channel is a concern for the DPO which has no control on the MRP. TRAI has taken into consideration a lot of factors while designing the NTO and this high pricing is the broadcasters way of trying to instigate public outrage and sabotage it. But if the viewers play it wisely and just don't subscribe at the high prices for a few months, the channels' viewership and BARC ratings will fall, which will threaten their Ad revenue, the broadcasters will be forced to reduce the prices and add the flagship channels in bouquets. That time the full potential of this NTO will be realised.

SURYA SD and SURYA HD both priced at 12, but Malayalam HD bouquet is priced at 25 against 20 for SD bouquet.

Yes, the same way Star offers Malayalam bouquets now following NTO 1. SD price is ₹39 while HD price is ₹75 for minor changes in a la carte prices of channels.

Better to choose Surya HD, Surya Movies and Surya Music as a la carte avoiding bouquets. Kochu TV can be omitted if there is no kids at home and Surya Comedy is actually a tragedy.

Broadcasters to DPO transmission also happens via satellite bro. So broadcasters are also concerned about bandwidth. Yes, TRAI has done a good job. No doubt. But there can be scope for improvements. Just thought this could avoid exorbitant prices of prime HD channels and many will opt for sd leaving broadcasters to reduce HD prices.

I think Sony and Sun being the first and last broadcasters to release their RIOs have given us the biggest shocks (at least in Telugu and Kannada, not Tamil and Malayalam) in terms of channel pricing. Other broadcasters have been much more lenient with their channel pricing, even though the main GECs had to be pulled out of the packs. Viacom18 is the best by far, since other than Colors and Colors Kannada, none of the GECs were taken out of the packs.

Also, disappointed that there is no news of the launch of Udaya Movies HD, Surya Movies HD and Sun Bangla HD.

As a SUN DTH customer, got to see how they are going to offer their channels from 1-Dec, expecting them to continue the free offers for own channels.
