The service is just outdated. It has no curated plans for it's customers. Don't see why some North Indian customer will be interested in Sun NXT. Or South Indians go for Chaupal. No Chromecast or Picture-in-Picture support. Search is broken. App feels like some old streaming app from 5 years ago. 2 expensive bundles that cost ₹299 and ₹399. Own Tata Play DTH customer is at disadvantage here as phone number is tied up with their DTH connection so connection must stay active to use Binge plan. It's just disappointing to see so many shortcomings. Android TV app is fine. But again algorithm is poor. You can't search from within the services. Other OTT aggregators like Airtel Xstream, Prime Video, Watcho and OTT Play are ahead at this moment.
First thing they should provide is language and genre based bundles. Second is chromecast and pip in support. Offline downloads also are must. They can even make South DTH Plans by including Sun NXT at discount. Same can be done with Hoichoi for Bengali market. There is so much potential here. They seriously need to rethink about their current strategy.
