So is Mr Nagpal lying ? :dodgy

you know today he is always lying :dodgy also mpeg4 migration are stopped like as it never started :skd :nj

But just switching Sat u will not get additional capacity to add 20 chs(some are HD too). So is Mr Nagpal lying ? :dodgy

Switching satellite will give additional capacity - 1. Because this satellite is new whereas insat-4a has power issues. So power issues vs no power issues will allow more utilization, 2. The time stpend in between entire exercise will have more and more people migrated to mpeg4 boxes and another region can be shifted to mpeg4 channels resulting in additional bandwidth.

Question is just whether gsat 10 is coming ot insat 4a is shifting to V polarity.

u mean with no power issue with GSAT 10 they will be able to add more than 56 channels per transponder ?:huh

I am talking in general...some ceo says this thing on 13th march...then if changes power issue satellite to fresh satellite...gives no guarantee exactly when this shortly getting 20 channels are coming...that person can easily add 20 channels within passing time if above two conditions are kept in mind...more days to move few channels to mpeg4 and better power conditions...and i am also not sure if a satellite launched in 2005 and a satellite launched 2012 might have some such provision which enables it to have little more space...so that point i am making is with shortly being not so shortly and with new satellite 20 channels is believable...

If this V Tps are from Insat-4a than why we are getting signals of Gsat-10 :huh

Do one experiment. Edit the Gsat TP setting on your STB and make it H and set it as the entry point. You will still get channels. Gsat does not have H TPs. So how will you be getting the channels? It is all about the parameter setting and the availability of signals from satellite at that setting. The name of the setting on the STB makes no real difference, neither does it guarantee that the signal is coming from Gsat10.

Similarly the new software also lists AS 7/8 TPs which also show good signal, but is it possible to get AS 7/8 at 83 deg? The signal is coming from other satellite at 83 deg with similar parameters as entered in those settings.

Yes that's what I am also saying as Gsat 10 tps have dofferent parameter so how will it work on Insat 4a parameters :huh:huh

It all proves that the H&V signals are from insat-4a itself.ts is testing frec reuse technology

So plz change the thread as "tatasky added 12new V tps"
