Please share TATA Sky HD User Sound Bi-tare info regarding your HT.
Airtel is Providing DD+ at 256kbps & DD at & 640kbps on DD+ Chanel & flat 384kbps in DD Chanel.

I connect directly to STB to HT by HDMI & Then HT to TV by HDMI
in setting STB DD+ on HDMI setting selected
on average System u will not found any major different but good HT like Sony , Yamaha with 1000 watt system u will definitely got different
see on DD+ now in center & Surround speaker Have more Bass & with Dialogue enhancer & then you can easily hear at any place in hall.
also Bass & treble will boost additionally with 20-25% in DD+ setting
other are same.
if you want real big different in DD & DD+ so audio in DD+ must be in 7.1 on 7.1 system with constant bit-rate of 1.7 mbps then only u will feel like u r seat in PVR with Full Volume

I Have 5.1 Sony DTH IV300 which is 2 HDMI input & 1 HDMI Output with ARC , 1 optical & Coaxial each . it DD , DD+ ,DTS , D True HD & DTS MA capable. TV is Sony KDL 32w700c.
currently all major HD DTH & Streaming service like Netflix are broadcasting all their content in only in 5.1 with DD+ or DD. there is nowhere in 7.1 in Broadcasting industries . hardly 1-5 % of Dolby certified HT is 7.1 in user end & reaming is 5.1 HT . even if Some 7.1 content is available in broadcasting content like movies on Star HD Channel like Toy-story 3 or Raone which is 7.1 native or latest Bahubali which one is encoded in Dolby Atmos hence they are Down scaling in flat 5.1 sound & Broadcasting same.
see all star HD Chanel are DD+ by their end but it is DTH provider decision they transmit in DD or In DD+ (may be for conserve bandwidth )
for DD+ u must connect as to STB to HT by HDMI & Then HT to TV by HDMI
& select DD+ in Stb
by optical u will only able to transmit DD audio & PCM/Setero.

In my ht , having 1 HDMI out with arc. Is it will act as dd+ audio input?what about d coaxial? It will carry dd sound?
