Discussion Tata Sky HD channel has cuts/crops some portion of picture

I think due to 1080i resolution Tata Sky HD cropping some portion of picture on the left, right hand side.
I have used Videocon d2h when I set 1080i resolution, same thing happened here as well.
When I set 1080p in d2h then its showing full picture. No portion cuts down. Noticed on any zee channels as they have their logo on the left hand side.
Is anyone also noticed this issue??​

Any HD channel bro... Just you have to compare HD channel on Videocon or Airtel or also you can compare on jio tv

Which is your tv model and size, check your TV settings like zoom level.

I think it's not possible May Your STB settings problem..

Change your tv resolution setting to Screen Fit, your problem will get solved.

No bro... I have mi 4A 43 inch full hd television. Its working fine with Videocon 1080p or any android app, jio tv. I mentioned whenever I set 1080i on Videocon d2h same issue is there as well and Tata sky doesn't have 1080p.

Bro, whatever may be the reason if u want full picture on ur tv this is the solution.
By the way I was also facing same problem with my samsung tv... And after this setting I am getting full picture with good PQ.

bro I checked all settings. Seems like its 1080i issue. Its not 100% noticable issue but you will definitely notice left side gap on any zee hd channel.
Zee hd logo now on left hand side you can check logo position by comparing Videocon or jio tv.
Or just switch to Videocon stb box setting and check by setting 1080i and 1080p. You will notice.
