Yes, TS had added a bunch of chnls over the past few months, but they were so far behind every other DTH, that they had to do add some..

Even after addition, now other DTH have again moved ahead.... and TS have been caught chasing them again. Its a vicious circle, if u r behind a race, ull always keep on chasing.. :nj

Rightly said...only thing with them is that they do not wish to win the race...they are fine in their royal baggi moving slowly on mumbai marine drive...if others come closer to them in royal baggi (meaning quality) then they will be forced to choose racing car called more channel addition...I am a tata sky fan and have 2 yrs of subscription...but i wish my dth could stop now at least after 6 yrs giving excuses as if i have become their wubscriber now and have no history behind to feel frustrated...i am afterall old tata sky subscriber since 2006.

Yes exactly the same point if you are happy with your dth then be it why to interfere in others people are having different choice for different things so one cannot force anyone to do the same thing which he is already doing many are changing their dth just for channel count and all if tomorrow a particular dth moves ahead then others then all will run for that and this will continue till the end of life and I wonder what will they do with all these channels there is no one here who watches all channel for 24 hrs be it hd or sd so whatever a particular dth is giving one must accept that and not to run from one dth to other just for some handful of channels

Of course bro, 20 new channels are to be added in the April month only. And as you know, some of them will be HD channels and I think, upto 9 channels out of 20 can be termed as 'some of them'. So the chances are high that to satiate the anger of its many subscribers due to the black out for last some days, they can add 9 HD channels this time hopefully. I am hopeful, that this time we can see some good HD channels addition as I have read somewhere else that 'ZEEL can launch Zee Cafe HD on 19th April' and 'Star is launching Star Movies Select HD on 28th April', although I don't believe on the news other than this forum but still I am hopeful for the same. Also, I am hopeful for the launch of FX HD channel at the end of April. Apart from Zee Cafe HD, Star Movies Select HD and FX HD, they can add AXN HD, &tv HD, &pictures HD, Animal Planet HD, Nat Geo Wild HD and History Tv 18 HD channels on their platform. Apart from these 9 HD channels, they can add Toonami, Enter 10, Sony Kix, Zee Sangam, Nat Geo People, Anjaan Tv and 4 malyalam channels like Flowers Tv, Safari Tv etc. as Kerala is the most hit area from this black out. These are just analysis but hope for the positive, and you can expect some good news regarding this in the coming 15 days !!
