Tata Sky to beam more regional channels.

Yes it needs to add Zee Bangla Movies , News Time Bangla , Dhoom Music , Dhoom Cinema , Channel 10 , Kolkata TV , Tara Muzik , Sarthak TV , Ne Hifi etc .

thats good news. let us wait and watch. if tata sky really want to win over v d2h, dish tv and airtel they should start adding channels on large scale on or before Diwali i.e. 14th nov'12.

on regional basis: they can add 6-8 channels on each regional base.

on GEC/Movie they can add atleast 25 SD channels provided they take all the 12 Ku band tps.

so now the big mystry is how many Tps will tata sky hire on GSAT-10 as hiring cost is very more and they have to pay huge amount to ISRO.

i think, at initial stage they will get 4-5 tps, later remaining 8-7 as requirement.. the other thing is, if tatasky will get all 12 tps then they will not use all at one time, :lol

Is there any need to change software to tata sky? Expert invited. As of now we can search channels name on stb but cant they so i think there is no need of software upgrade.

well in software upgrades they fix bugs also add new features...they can enable usb as well by that...and add more tps of another sat...

As of now we can add dd direct's channels only cant watch video so after getting Gsat tata sky not need update software for channels addition.
