Looks like a side effect of TRAI implementation. Just like how earlier mobile networks used to fail during new year's eve due to traffic.

Adding it earlier in the morning would have helped and not caused this issue.

It happened during IPL, so people should have known that adding the channel a day before or same day morning would have helped and not jammed the servers.

I am using airtel hence shared the experience, also i have not criticised Tata Sky rather taken a realistic view while commenting.
