Odia channel named 'Tarang Music' has been shifted to MPEG4, today.

Is it true? My relatives paid Rs.1800/ for HD box. Charging 100% for 1 year warranty or what? Are they explaining all this to customers ?

Well, if one is having old MPEG2 box, only that old box can be migrated to HD for Rs.990, else normal charges will be applicable as per HD upgrade which is Rs. 1800.

Yes. It was a replacement and they were not aware that there are 2 options for Hd box Rs.999/ and 1800/

Well, even if the set top box is MPEG2, to avail the offers one has wait till he/she receives the sms, as the same question regarding migration was asked by me a month back and the customer care said to me that that offer wasn't available against that ID as of then, though the offer was going on and asked me to wait until I receive the text, I got the text around 10 days back. Now that offer is applicable to me.
I have two subscriber IDs and these connections are installed in different places. In one ID I'm having two HD boxes and in another one old MPEG2 SD box is there for more than 5 years, I have sent 'y' to 56633, but the local people there have said that they will take 10 days to get the STB, still I would say TS rocks in service.
