Asiasat 8 has 24 Ku band TPs. So they booked entire satellite? :huh

You mean 24 TPs of Asiasat8? So Tata Sky would now have 24TPs of 108 MHz? It will be flurry of channels in that case...the capacity would become - 2*2*3 times...2-in account of MPEG4 conversion, 2-in account of 12 to now 24 TPs...and 3-on account of bandwidth increase?

Asiasat8 has 54 MHz TPs.

Could be from ABS2 as well. Given an option b/w AS8 & ABS2, I would prefer AS8
