To be frank, I am very much new to tatasky.... I really don't know how to check the software version [emoji20]

Follow this :
Organizer - > System Settings -> System Details then check the Release Number

What happened when you tried manual update ? Any screen appeared showing some numbers & arrow symbol

Nothing...STB really doesn't respond ... It just keeps on restarting...

Clearly read the steps & try again, it will work
Do not power off the stb using remote
