• Vishal’s ‘Maga Maharaju’ confirmed for 27th February

Actor Vishal has been churning out successful films loaded with commercial elements. The actor’s latest Sankranthi Tamil hit ‘Aambala’ will be releasing in Telugu as ‘Maga Maharaju’ on 27th February. The film has been directed by popular Tamil actor and director Sundar C. Starring Hansika as the film’s leading lady, ‘Maga Maharaju’ is an out
and out action entertainer with high doses of comedy.
The film sustained the Shankar-Vikram’s ‘I’ storm and registered solid collections across Tamil Nadu as well as in overseas areas. Vishal will himself release the film in Telugu under his Vishal Film Factory banner and buyers are showing interest to acquire the theatrical rights thanks to the success of his last film ‘Pooja’.

Review : Maga Maharaju

Starring :Vishal, Hansika, Ramya Krishnan….
Tamil hit film Ambala, starring Vishal and Hansika, is now being brought to us in Telugu as Maga Maharaju. Sundar C, who made a mark with the horror comedy ‘Chandrakala’, has directed this flick which has opened in 474 screens allover. Let’s now see how it is.

Story :
Krishna (Vishal) is a young business man who lives with his single mother. One fine day, he comes to know about his father(Prabhu) and sets out to find him. After searching for a while, he finally meets his dad and finds out that he also has two younger brothers.
Twist in the tale arises when his father asks Krishna to reunite him with his three lost sisters. Rest of the story is about how Krishna manages to reunite the entire family. Where does Maaya(hansika) feature in all this set up? Watch the movie to find out.
Plus Points :
One of the biggest plus of this dubbing flick is the familiar star cast. Vishal is good and plays the sheet anchor’s role quite well. Comedy scenes between Vaibhav and Satish will evoke a few laughs.
Milk beauty Hansika has once again played a glamorous role to entertain the audience. Star comedian Santhanam has done a great job and all his scenes during the climax are hilarious.
Senior actresses Ramya Krishna, Aishwarya and Kiran Rathode have done a decent job in their supporting roles. Poonam Bajwa sizzled in an item song which looked quite racy on screen.
Minus Points :
The plot of the film and narration are the major drawbacks of this family drama. The movie falls flat with predictable scenes and offers nothing new as far the story is concerned.
Even the songs and fights designed are also below par. The characterization of villain is also not up to the mark and does not create the necessary effect.
There is a lot of drag in the narration and in storytelling. There is also a very old flavour to the movie.
Technical Aspects :
Cinematographer Gopi Amarnath has done well in showcasing the locations quite nicely. Production values of the film are good and all the songs have been shot lavishly. Dialogues written by Shasank Vennelakanti are decent. Music by Hip Hop Thamiza is not at its best. Editing is also below par as the movie seemed quite lengthy.

Story: The film has three different stories which traverse the lives of an unemployed youngster; a small time thief with big dreams; a bunch of friends on their way to a rave party. Little do they know that their paths will cross in more ways than not. The rest of the story is about the twists and turns which unravel in their respective lives.
Movie Review: There's no dearth of subtle hints all over the film that director Karthik Varma is influenced by the likes of Guy Ritchie, Darren Aronofsky, and Bob Marley. In fact, the film itself almost seems like an ode to Guy Ritchie's Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. Although, the film treads a different path, you can't contend with the tone of the narration which combines crime and comedy to a fascinating degree. But like in most crime thrillers, there's always a catch. And the catch in this film is that most of the jaw-dropping coincidences sound cool, while reading the script than the impact which the film has in the end.
Bham Bholenath is a film full of coincidences. So much that, as the story unravels, you begin to marvel at how well the three sub-plots begin to come together halfway through the film. You prepare yourself to be sucked into a crazy maze of coincidences and what it might lead to. But soon, the film enters a different zone where no matter how hard you try it becomes more difficult to get on a high. On storytelling, that is. By the time you realise what hit you, the details are blurred at best, and you can only recollect traces of a crazy trip. The climax, in particular, is a bad trip which just doesn't seem to end no matter how hard you try to shake it off. It's exactly like wanting to go on a crazy roller coaster ride for the first time, only to realise that you wish it was more thrilling in the last stretch. And that changes everything.

Review : Surya Vs Surya

Story:-
Surya(Nikhil) suffers from a rare genetic disorder called Porphyria which threatens to kill him if he gets exposed to the sunlight. Loosing no hope, Surya chooses to avoid the day time and manages his life during the nights.
Twist in the turn arises when a TV anchor named Sanjana(Tridha Chowdary) falls in love with him. As time passes by, she comes to know about Surya’s disease and breaks up with him. Rest of the story is as to how Surya overcomes his problems and wins his love back.

Gopichand’s Jil audio on 12th

hero Gopichand is currently busy with his latest flick ‘Jil’. This project has completed most part of its shooting and is expected to hit screens at the end of this month. This movie is touted to be a comedy entertainer which includes action elements as well.
As per the latest update, the audio of this flick will release on 12th March. Gibran is the music director. Rashi Khanna is the female lead in this flick which was directed by debutante Radha Krishna Kumar. Successful producers Vamshi and Pramod, who produced ‘Mirchi’, and ‘Run Raja Run’ under U.V Productions banner, are producing this movie.
