Viacom 18 and dsport had shared cricket rights in the past. Can someone explain this?

Sony itself is looking to buy others.Any way now things are beyond our prediction as 21CF's deal with Disney was unexpected.

Yes.But its just sharing only I think inorder to improve reach from a single sports channel.
 
Looks like discovery is with Viacom CBS merge.
Nickelodeon HD+ airs discovery network ads for every break.
90% of its break slot is only filled with discovery network ads

That cannot be considered as a symptom to identity a bigger process. Inter network ads are not a new thing. Even if they merged today the reflections minimum 3 months to come.
 
Either Viacom CBS merger should happen or Comcast will buy Viacom.
Another excuse to merge both networks.
As CBS ready to pay less price than Viacom 's market value.
