Sad News Three HD Sony channels has been shut down due to low viewership (Sony Rox HD, Le Plex HD & Ten Golf HD)

God knows how Dream tv is still alive. It's available in very few cable & not even on a single DTH.
Now, they should distribute it & launch it.

Cable TV platforms do transmit many unallowed channels too at different occasions hence i don't think we can conlude that Dream TV officially launched taking only this into account. They must have just inserted it on few platforms to check response, Dream TV does not have MIB permission too till now

Before the implementation of trai new rule 3 HD channels (included D sports) are going to shutdown. Is this due to the new rule? If so then how many shutdowns we have to see in future :cf:

I didn't said that it is officially launched.
As far as I know, it is having license.

I'm not sure whether Sony goes for attractiveness considering the logos of their sports channels!

Sony Liv is horrible for Sony's OTT service and that can also be a reason for Sony's failure nowdays to an extent.
The new MX Player Beta has all of Sony Liv's shows and it works flawlessly and 10000000x then Sony Liv does.

I agree SonyLIV has the worst quality when compared to Hotstar, Zee5, Voot etc. I don't even think it provides full 1080p HD.

After trai traiff implement running a HD feed is not a easy job coz majority of users now thinking abt SD feed only even though they had HD stb .. more HD only feed channels shutdown is inevitable

Then they should launch Sony ROX SD & Sony Le Plex SD, instead of shutting down.
