wonderful hunt bro :clap

Ok, so here's my story abt Laosat :shy

I tried it abt 3 weeks back, and got 90/74 signal on 10730 tp, on my 100 cms dish.

But, I cud not scan the chnls :no, why... just bcoz, I was holding d dish in my hands :hehe

Yes, as its in eastwards direction, there is no wall mount... if I kept the dish on the ground, I was not getting any signals... but as soon as I lifted d dish, slightly wid my hands, I got gud signals... but cud not fix it.

so only got to see d signals, but cud not scan d chnls, and fix d dish.

I am sure it's not Laosat....it is some China sat bro.....
My location is Dehradun...uttarakhand.
@Shawl for low elevation satellites it becomes tougher to align dish..

Here is my story.
I am not receiving any signals on my digital satellite finder which shows both signal and quality.

Perhaps that is why I was not able to track it earlier.

So I had to shuttle between my room which is far from dish and the dish and it was all guess work and repeated blind scan on my receiver.
Once I got "NG" on 11805 H 45000 transponder I did not move the dish.Just changed the skew slightly and got 50 to 70% signal.

I am still surprised as to why this satellite is not being received on the signal finder ?
Is any one else experiencing the same or not?
May be it has to do with 22k as my satellite finder has 22k set to "Auto".
Is 22k on or off for this satellite ?

OK,
How did you come to the conclusion it is Chinasat ?

Check my first ss it clearly shows Laosat in the service provider.

I am quite sure it is Laosat but still the question is open.

chinasat @125e, doesnt have ku band chnls..

jcsat 3a @128e, may be a possibility....

but I think its laosat only, as lyngsat may not be having complete info for laosat.

Might Be bro..I also got those channels...but was not able to find any info regarding those channels and TP...even all channels of Laosat what I got were encrypted though all of them are in FTA mode..
