If NTO 2.0 comes into effect from 1st March then there is strong possibility of channels like &Xplor HD adding on dish d2h. Remember all previous RIO will be defunct and New agreement will have to be signed which will include such chs across broadcasters. Only thing causing delay will be transition period or distribution partners / broadcasters launching separate variant of certain bouquet like Indiacast did where HD chs were swapped with SD variant , however this may be temporary. Still find it surprising how some operators r providing bouquet devoid of few chs, how exactly is this working out ... Only explanation is a adjustments/exceptions made on basis of negotiations made between parties either due to bandwidth conatraints or lcn slots unavailability

GEC channel's price might reduce because it has higher viewers. But not sports channel, DD free sports is one of the reason plus higher broadcasting rights.

And members who remove channels after 1 day blaming star sports, that they are greedy, showing false claiming about loss bla bla bla. Just like telecom, broadcasting sector also going to doom. Because we like cheap thrills..

Loss of one sports channel like star sports will not cause any doom for broadcasting sector. They make profit that's why they pay high price for rights in auction. Do you think channels will buy rights for loss? It will bring down atrocious rights costs. channels wont shut down. It will expand subscription reach due to lower price.
