Meanwhile another case is filed in Kerala High Court. The case is filed by consumers this time on the following grounds:
1. NCF is just defined in NTO 2.0, but no clause gives power to DPOs to levy NCF.
2. TRAI cannot put cap on maximum discount, so they want to do away with 33% cap.
3. DPOs cannot force BSTs on their subscribers.

Finally some consumers are also going to court now.

As seen from above 3 points petitioners might be relatives of broadcasters..

Update: TRAI haven't agreed to delay NTO by 1 month..!!
However hearing will continue tomorrow as the parties were not able to complete their arguments today.. today parties made marathon arguments of about 6 hours..!! The remaining parties will continue to make arguments tomorrow and after which court will decide whether to pass interim/final order granting/refusing stay..

everyone knows this. this is drama to delay few years..otherwise trai should have gone SC a month ago. Case is pending in so many HC. so supreme court can club all together and directly hear them. it could have saved time. but main purpose of case is time pass. trai is also part of it.
