Very good explanation given by Siva bro. According to me curated packs are better compare to broadcasters bouquets (specially in Airtel and Sun Direct). Im an airtel user and NCF for me is just only 82₹(using a package made by airtel).
According to new rules now we can add extra channels also(up to 200) in curated packs without any extra cost. 😍
Now let's see how will be the new broadcasters bouquets and Curated packs.

STAR got 65+8 (Disney) channels (all Pay I think) and 173 bouquets (w/o Disney).
So they should remove 100 bouquets. 😲
According to the TRAI data, STAR India offers 74 channels and 93 bouquets.

mostly all groups will try to increase less amount to high rates to stay with same plan...

Let's take first bouquet for now.
As per new rule, any channel with MRP above Rs.12 cannot be included in a broadcaster bouquet.
Ignoring that, the Ala-carte sum of the channels in above bouquet is 69.
As per new rule, the bouquet price should not be below 46.

So some changes will be required to retain the bouquet.
First bring down the Ala-carte price of SUN TV andd KTV to Rs. 12.
Then the Ala-carte sum will become 55 and bouquet can be priced at 36.6
The bouquet subscriber will get a benefit of 3.4 rupees.
Ala-carte sum is 82, possible minimum bouquet price is 54.
The pack is already priced above the ceiling.
If 19 becomes 12, Ala-carte sum is 61, minimum bouquet price is 40.7.
SUN can price the bouquet anywhere between 40.7 and 61.
Right. Sun network had already priced their bouquets at a higher price without giving many discounts, which almost satisfies the new ceiling. The only thing is their al-a-carte prices are at 19 right now, they must make them 12 to continue offering their popular channels in bouquets. Otherwise, people will go al-a-carte and ignore their bouquets if they don't consist of channels like Sun TV! So, I think they will reduce the prices to 12, however, the benefits for the bouquet users might be small! The high benefit will be for the al-a-carte users, who will pay 7 rupees less per channel if it's reduced from 19 to 12.

Keeping the same NCF and increasing the channels to 200 for NCF is not good. Instead reduce the NCF to 100 Rs (including NCF) and keep the channel count same
