I agree, but what TRAI did with NTO was made the soap available for 19Rs for all. Atleast some people were able to get the soap for Rs.10 in previous regime.

regulations are not made for some people, 80:20 rule gets applied everywhere..... as i mentioned earlier its subjective..... earlier i was in loss now i m good.... similarly someone must be benefitting earlier and now in loss (incase the person was/is consuming all 300+ channels)

Previous DTH operator's are whole salers . They are buys ₹19 MRP product for some ₹10 bulkly. Then sale around ₹11 or ₹12.
Shop rent also born by the whole salers.

Surprisingly in New NTO system Shop rent also bare by the customer , then hole saler takes commission from customer and product owner.
Every operator collects 2500-6000 crores as NCF per year.

if you have noticed, today also discounted pack price is being offered by DTH (on recommended packs made by them aka PUSH packaging)... you can easily work out the cost (will try share one or two case today or, tomorrow).... so stating that complete NCF is being paid by consumers would be a lil incorrect.

Yes bro only subscribers are suffering. For eg. If i pay for colors bouquet with rishtey cineplex in it but my cable operator is not having rishtey cineplex or i have zee pack but zee punjabi is missing. I am paying for it but i can't see it. I don't think operators provide refund in these cases.

in Sundirect also happening this. If we took Jaya pack then we canot see Jaya Movies is not in this platform

What you said is correct but small correction here. Rishtey Cineplex isn't part of any existing Colors Wala Bouquets.

It is only part of the new bouquets in the new RIO which is not yet pushed on DPOs and neither will it be pushed.

Let us also talk about the cost of providing the service, someone in the chain needs to bear that too. It cannot be that simple.

I agree. It abodes well for consumers who know how to make their packages. But masses are not like that

completely agree, same here from Rs 550 per month (almost all channels) to ~Rs 300 with relevant channels only

Broadcasters are now blackmailing govt. Saying that 100-150 channels shut down in 1-2 years due to NTO 2.0. Already to much channels. Good if they shut down. Especially d grade news channels
