After Airtel yesterday Dish TV today gets served similar notice. Forced complementary channels on TRAI radar.

• The said DTH operator is forcefully offering a bouquet of free-to-air channels with no choice to subscribers and without their consent. This is in addition to the channels opted by the subscribers and the following message is being displayed: - This is a free to air bouquet at no extra charge. If you have selected any pay channel, then this bouquet will not impact your NCF.
• Most of the times, the consumers are not able to contact the toll-free number of Mj s Dish TV India Ltd to express their grievance.

Also bro did Trai give any order/notice about many incomplete broadcaster bouquets and still charging full amount of bouquets.It is very wrong for the consumer

They will have to stop forcing the free channels and resolve customer issues in a better manner.

Airtel's new NCF PDF after the direction says the complementary channels are optional. TRAI is probably not in favour of forced FTA channels.

So fta channels of our choice first 100 channels can b mix of paid and fta channels??

Most probably the issue is, they have combined FTA with Pay chs in their dpo bouquet.

For example: SUPER FAMILY has 197 chs of both FTA and pay. I am not sure whether subscriber can change/replace FTA chs of these pack or not. Is dishtv allowing changing FTA of their Bouquet ? If not then that's the issue
