I think Broadcasters or Service Providers can offer either HD or SD bundle. Don't mix-up both, which are same content as per TRAI.

Yes. From 1 channel to 100 channels, min.fee(Base pack or Access Fee) is Rs.130. After 100 channels for extra 20 channels fee is Rs.25.

In DTHs Tatasky will be cheaper but other DTHs Airtel, Sun Direct are already giving SD basepacks at Rs.99 and Rs.169 respectively.

HD Packs too Rs.225 in ADTV, Rs.180 in SunDirect.

After TRAIs order implementation SD min. Basepack will be Rs.130 + Rs.20(taxes) = Rs.150pm

I'm sure HD packs prices will also be increased by DTH operators.

The only benefit i see is to subscribe Channels as Al-la-carte whenever required.

So, as per my understanding monthly cost of users who watch very few channels will be reduced and Users who watch many channels will be increased.

I guess, the cost will be remained same its decision is done solely by Airtel and TRAIs order doesn't apply for these specialised packs.
