they dont like the new rule thats why they saying this.if base pack price increase please choose rs 130 pack and opt other pay channels you needed.

May be true because they are offering many unwanted pay channels in there packages. For example i am.from.kerala i really do not required any paid hindi entertainment,music,movies,news,cartoon, channels.in my pack but still this channes are available in my pack.

That's true my pack is dhamaka and as the name suggest it is for Hindi belt and the languages that I know other than Hindi (Hindustani) are English & little bit Punjabi.(as it is 50-55% like Hindi)
But still I have been offered channels from other languages in my pack which are useless for me. (besides one free regional pack)
Other than Hindi I am getting
Punjabi (4 channels), (I watch it sometime for music so, it's fine to have punjabi)

But here is the list of languages (channels) which are totally useless for me (I never watch them as I don't understand a single word of the following language)

Malayalam (18 channels)
Bengali (8 channels)
Marathi (5 channels)
Kannada (8 channels)
Gujarati (3 channels)
Odia (4 channels)
Tamil (23 channels)
Telugu (16 channels)

So total 85 channels that are useless for me are being imposed on me & I can do nothing but to pay for them

If half of these 85 channels are pay channels then you will surely going to benefited after the new trai rule

DTH operators can keep these rates for display only as they know customers will not accept these rates for single channel or even in packages. Otherwise every customer will end up paying 400-500+ anyhow for all network SD or HD channels either in package or if individually selected. If this really happens then we will have 500+ channels on platform but only 20-30 subscribed.
