Isro should launch Insat using Proton rocket intead of Ariane which may help extend lifetime of their sat.

Why not GSLV MKIII ?

If GSLV MKIII can launch heavy sat & extend lifetime just like Proton rocket then there should not be any problem.

30 years lifetime for a satellite. :skd
Thats unheard of... :u

yes. Space x placed the satellite to super synchronous transfer orbit about 90,000 km apogee and also used same rocket for another launch. This also unheard news. Space launch is now in big competition, to attract customers.
