Ok. All the latest news saying 30 years lifetime. But old report 15 years. Check yourself.

What is Briz-M..?

upper stage. It's a external propeller to move satellite from low orbit to geo transfer orbit. It's not satellite part. It's already seperated.

30 Year is too long time to maintain a satellite in Geo stationary orbit as that require lots of fuel .

i don't know much bro. But one thing. Carefully read this mission timeline. This is 9.5 hours mission. This sat not used own propeller like our insat did. This Used external propeller called briz-m. So sat fuel not used for altitude raising.

Proton-M system seems to be most advanced satellite launch system.

I am not talking about orbit raising. Every Geo stationary satellite has to be above equator at a height of 36000 km. Now as earth's axis is not vertical and tilted about 23 degree so over the year we get winter summer monsoon etc but the same thing causes the satellite to moves away from equator. So satellite operator has to fire thruster which on board satellite to bring it back to above equator. When onboard fuel supply stop satellite control lost because u cannot maintain it over equator. I hope u understand.

I think thats why mission life of sat is extended upto 30 yrs...

But on second para it says
The Turksat 4A spacecraft is a commercial communications satellite built by Mitsubishi Electric (MELCO) for operation by Turksat AS.

The satellite is based on the DS-2000 satellite bus that first flew in 2002 and is capable of providing 15kW of power to facilitate powerful communication payloads for mission durations of 15 years and beyond. Turksat 4A has a total launch mass of 4,850 Kilograms.

Yes brother. Definitely satellite need enough fuel to maintain its location for whole lifetime. sat lifetime is calculated by the fuel. If the fuel is enough for 30 years lifetime also 30 years.
